Bike Check - Ryder Hesjedal

I know that this segment is usually to showcase the bicycles of le’ crew de stuckylife, but i figured for this bike we may make an exception. This bike is THE bike that won The Giro D’Italia. I won’t describe this bike to death, or bore you with the 3 prototype items in use on it. You are all nerdy enough to figure them out anyway. I will just leave it as is for everyone to enjoy it.”

Cervélo ain’t my fave, but Ryder’s pink/black Giro whip is B.A.L.L.E.R.

A small detail but it looks like Giro have a new helmet for the sprinters, as worn by Mark Renshaw of Rabobank. With no vents it is more aerodynamic.

Not ideal for a hot day and we might see riders in the Tour de France wear a conventional vented helmet for most of a stage before swapping for the finish.

VENTLESS HELMET MADE OF GRANITE IS #UNCLASS.

Prepare for whinge, in: 3-2-1…
